The Gospel is also referred to as the Good News.
Jesus Christ is the good news.

God is the Creator of everything. Of you, of me. Of the Heavens and the Earth. Of the moon and the stars. Of the entire universe and everything in it. He has always existed.
As the Creator of all things, He is the One who sets the standard for all things. The reward for all things. And the punishment for all things.
He is love. He is righteous. He is just. He is Holy. He is perfect and His standard of good is perfection.
One day, after the final judgment, He will create a new Heaven and a new Earth. It will be perfect. There will be no sin, no evil, no pain, no sickness and no death. Only peace, and love and joy. Only health, and abundance and laughter. All who dwell there will be clothed in righteousness. No sin will be present.
The issue is: We all sin. Every single one of us. We were born into this world with a sin nature and we will never be able to keep God’s law perfectly. We all sin. We all have the proclivity for some form of rebellion. If we’ve ever missed the mark in life – even by a little – we are in need of atonement and reconciliation. Only the righteous will make it to Heaven. Everyone else needs to be saved from judgment.
And so then: If we all sin and if no one is righteous… how are we spared?
The good news is: God already laid out a plan from the beginning. He, the only Righteous One, knew that He would come to atone for our sins: paying our debt – past, present and future. Taking our penalty. And paving a way for us to be seen as blameless, perpetually. All we need to do is to recognize Him, yield to Him as our authority, and love Him with all of our heart, mind and soul.
God kept His word. Jesus did all of this for us. He atoned for our sins so that we may be saved through Him.
Our great God Almighty (all three persons of the Godhead) did this for us: The Father draws us so that we may even desire salvation. Jesus Christ saves us through His sacrifice, His resurrection and through His blood. The Holy Spirit seals us and testifies to the truth of Jesus. Once you surrender to Jesus, in true repentance, you are saved. And once you are saved, you are saved.
God planned our salvation from the very beginning.
But will we recognize Him? Will we recognize, love and honor our Creator for who He is? Or will we shun Him?
Ask Him to remove the scales from your eyes so that you may come to know Him. See Jesus for who He truly is: as Lord and savior. God. The second person of the Trinity. The One who walked the earth in flesh: truly God, truly man. The One who died and rose again for the forgiveness of our sins, so that we may be reconciled to Him. So that we may receive salvation for all of eternity. So that we may know that we are saved today. Spared from judgment. And that we will be with Him, in Heaven, clothed in His righteousness forever and ever.

We all fall short of God’s will. Your sins will either be judged and dealt with via God’s wrath. Or, they’ll be forgiven and blotted out, in Jesus’ name. He knows your heart and He knows if it is true. You’ll grasp the need for His forgiveness once you come to understand the weight of your sin. You’ll turn your whole will toward Him, and He will give you a new heart and the Holy Spirit. And, He’ll help to carry out your walk.
Don’t let anything stop you from coming to Him. Let the Holy Spirit take the place of the spirit of fear. You will no longer be under any condemnation once you’re in Christ. You may be in the enemy’s territory now, but you will be in God’s territory from this day forward if you call on Him. Let nothing and no one come in between you and Him. You’ll have direct access to the Father, through Jesus. You are not too far gone to come to Him. Call on Him today.
You don’t need anyone else’s words to ask Jesus to save you…
