Thoughts Birthed from Prayer Time

Since 2021, I’ve kept a list of things that God has dropped in my spirit through prayer time, reading the word, or while in church. I’ve decided to share some of them here, almost in diary form. Before taking any of these statements to heart, please first make sure that it aligns with Scripture.

November 6, 2024: You have to care about your purpose – spreading the Gospel – more than you care about your pride. Don’t let the devil destroy your ministry or lessen your impact.

July 1, 2024: When God 1) spares a person’s life or 2) reconciles their relationship, it is another opportunity for them to either share – or hear – the Gospel.

May 24, 2024: God’s favor is on your life. Guard your home and use every chance you get to minister to people. Be in prayer, constantly.

March 8, 2024: The enemy inverts so much of God’s process. The devil will attempt to capture your attention, break you down and build you back up in an identity which serves “him,” rather than God.

March 2, 2024: Household should be spirit-led, emotionally safe, structured and fun.

February 23, 2024: A closure prayer that I wrote + spoke to God after leaving my church.

February 13, 2024: Don’t become self-righteous. What you know and learn should focus you and keep you and your babies on the right path.

October 5, 2022: “Dear God, What do I need in order to feel less mentally and emotionally drained?”

“Discipline.”

July 16, 2022: You’ve got to stop waiting until you’re willing to let something go to enforce boundaries.

Update: It’s pretty cool that God started teaching me this lesson back in 2022. Now that I understand how important it is to keep my eyes focused on Him and to not compromise the truth, I find that boundary-keeping is a lot easier. Am I perfect at it? Of course not. But, when I remember to set my focus on Him, He redirects my attention to the truth.
