Short Prayer:

Dear Jesus, I believe that You are the one true Messiah, my Lord + Savior, and that – through You – I will receive forgiveness of my sins; a new heart; a new life; and eternal life with God. I ask that You please reign over my life. I ask that You save me and accept me as one of Yours. I know that You lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose from the grave for the forgiveness of my sins. I ask that You make me new and whole in You and help me along my walk. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your love and sacrifice. In Christ’s name. Amen. Praise the Lord.

Long Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Thank You for drawing me near to You. Thank You for first loving me and for allowing me to understand the richness of Your love and the weight of Your will; which I can never keep in my own right. I know that I am a sinner, and that my sinful nature is one that separates me from You. I am so grateful that You have given Your son, Jesus, so that upon accepting Him, I may be reconciled with You through Him. I am so grateful that He has come to grant eternal life and salvation, and that I can now experience a peace and joy that only comes from dwelling in the hands of the One true God. The God of the Bible. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

I need You to please reign over my life, Jesus. Give me a new heart. One that is turned toward You, fully. Allow me to be one of Yours. You say that anyone who comes to You will be kept. That no one can snatch or pluck me from Your hand. That through You, I will know the Father. I want to be a child of God.

I know that there is no other way to the Father, than through You, Jesus. I believe that You came to the earth, lived a sinless life, were crucified on the cross and rose from the grave for the forgiveness of my sins. Please forgive me of my sins, Lord. Please help me to walk by faith, in obedience and repentance. Please allow me to rest in You and please fill me with the Holy Spirit.

Thank You, God, for loving me. I love You.
